Greetings Hive!!!
This week's theme is "Reason For Living". So, I decided to go back to my first Morktra solo album, released in 2014 and perform the song Inside My Soul. The song is about a realization I came to in order to cope and continue with life after the sudden murder of my wife at the hands of a drunken retired pro basketball player Mookie Blaylock in 2013. I could not lean on or depend on anyone as I had to be strong for my children. I had to go inside. Inside myself I found a strength I wish I had depended on my whole life. Doing that is honestly the only reason I stayed alive and also the only reason I keep creating music. We are the divine universe, each and every one of us. If we come to understand this, I truly believe that many issues we have in life will not be issues at all as we can handle life and all of its ups and downs better than we ever have. I also added a bonus guitar improvisation piece at the end!
