Hi friends, I hope you're fine?
I heard this morning on the radio a great story that I wanted to share with you. I love these kinds of stories that are out of the ordinary. In addition, I have two little boys of the same age who might want to do the same thing.
Here is the story :
In May 2017, two brothers, Ollie and Harry Ferguson, 5 and 8 years old, who live along the Scottish North Coast had the idea to put their favorite pirate ship Playmobil into the sea to live an adventure.
Before letting him go, they put a little word inside, a bit like the principle of a message in a bottle. In their message, they explained their idea and asked the person who finds it to hand it over to the water so that he continues his journey.
Their parents helped them strengthen their ship by placing polystyrene inside for better flotation and also added weight to increase stability.
Since May 2017, it has traveled a lot, it was found on the sides or even in a tree after a storm and was put back to sea by several people who warned the little boys by sending them an email with a little text and photos.
It is currently drifting to the shores of Guyana, South America to the Caribbean.
The boat was also fished by a Norwegian ship in November 2017, the sailors who were on board repaired a little the boat that was starting to deteriorate and took the opportunity to add a GPS to be able to follow it. They then put it back to sea in the Atlantic.
If you want to follow the adventures of these two little boys who have to live a dream awake and their pirate ship Playmobil, you can find them on Facebook by encoding adventure playmobil or on the track adventure website: https: // track-adventure .squarespace.com /
