Hello 👋
How are today? I hope you're doing great and well. Today's Sunday and another day to show to you my kitchen routine. I'm cooking a dish that's quick, easy and tasty stir fried vegetables with pork
I have a little pork leftovers in the fridge and I wanted to turn it into a delicious and healthy food for the kids..
So I just needed the following ingredients to start making this easy and quick menu
left over pork 1/2 cup
vegetable oil. 2 tbsp
Mixed vegetables:
Carrots 1 medium sized (chopped into diced)
Potatoes 1 medium sized (diced)
Squash. 1/8 kg (sliced and diced)
You can add another kind of vegetables or whatever you have in your fridge
garlic 1 clove (minced)
onion 1 medium sized (minced)
Soy sauce 2 tablespoon
Oyster sauce (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Here's the procedures in making it
Prepare the vegetables and spices and sliced it accordingly.
I heated some oil a pan. Make sure it's a medium high heat.
I added some garlic and onions and stir fried it for about 20 seconds or until aroma comes out.
I simply added all the mixed vegetables and stir fried it for 3 minutes until it's crisp and tender.
I added the leftovers pork and stir it to mix, I cooked them not just too long and just enough to heat it for about 2 minutes.
And finally I poured in the soy sauce, and a little amount of water, continue stirring it until it's mixed together.Simmer for 10 seconds.I made sure I don't overcooked the vegetables to preserve its freshness and vibrant look..
Once cooked you can now serve this with a hot rice or just eat this in plain vegetables. My kids really enjoyed our delicious and nutritious food for the day.
