Hey all, me again back with an energising and cleansing green smoothie sure to banish those mid- week blues!
As always it is super east to make, so let's get going.
Unlike my previous posts this smoothie doesn't contain any almond or rice milk as I don't think citrus fruits and nut milks work well together but that's my preference so feel free to substitute the water in this recipe for a milk of your choice.
Ingredients:
1 apple
1 pear
1 satsuma/ orange
Approx. 3 inches of cucumber
A generous handful of spinach
1/2 cup of water
Method:
- Chop and wash all the ingredients.
Place in the blender and add 1/2 cup of water.
Blend.
Add more water and blend again if the consistency is still too thick.
And that's it!
This is a really delicious, refreshing smoothie which has an awesome dose of vitamin C, iron, potassium, calcium, biotin and zinc just to name a few!
A perfect cocktail to keep those winter colds at bay π
