Hi all, a bit of a different kind of post from me today as I am in need of advice! So, I thought, why not call on all of you clever Steemians from all over the world? Between us we cover the whole globe, and this community has so much knowledge to share with each other!
So, here's the dilemma...
I'm trying to plan my travels for the next year, and taking a look at destinations to visit in the summer, around August/ September.
I've always wanted to go to Greece, the crystal clear blue waters and architecture really appeal to me so I'm thinking of possibly going to Corfu for a few days.
''Ok... so what's the problem?'' I hear you ask..
Well, I've heard that Greece is not very vegan friendly, and I am a little anxious that I will not be able to find anything to eat while I am there!
Greek food is delicious, and the Lisa of 3 years ago would be in her element with all the feta cheese and calamari. So I am wondering, what are the options for us plant based travellers?
The Greek cuisine seems to be very much meat based. Though I'm sure there are lots of delicious vegan options that I just don't know about!
So I'm calling on you, friends of Steemit!
I know I could just turn to Google to ask for advice, but with this great community here, we have a whole world of knowledge to share with each other and I'd love to hear from you all!
I'd love some recommendations for-
- What to eat
- WHERE to eat, preferably on the North of the island.
