Zhejiang - A tourist pounced on a tiger to death in front of his wife and children, after a desperate entry into the cage of the beast.
He was desperate to enter the tiger cage to avoid entrance fee 15 pounds sterling or about Rp 283 thousand.
The victim, who is in her forties and identified by the name of Zhang's family, visited Youngor Zoo in Ningbo City, in Zhejiang Province of East China with her family and friends.
In a horrific mobile recording and becoming viral in Chinese social media, Zhang is seen dragged down by a Siberian tiger. Another big cat also surrounds the 40-year-old man, as he tries to fight them by kicking the beast.
But his efforts are in vain, no tigers retreat. One of them even bit his neck.
At the end of the video, Zhang is seen dragged under the trees while the employees at the wildlife park try to scare the tiger by using firecrackers.
According to the authorities, it took more than an hour to get Zhang's body. He was declared dead at the hospital shortly after.
One Siberian tiger was also shot dead during the incident, though reports have not confirmed whether the animal caused Zhang's bite wound in the neck.
Now that viral video has been removed because it is considered too sadistic.
