Intro
I had been working in Saudi Arabia for a total of 10 years and decided to go home for good 2 years ago. In that span of time I was not able to do hive and its one of my many regrets in life. Had I continue to be active in this platform or shall I say the previous one I should have been able to collect and save a lot of Hive Power by now.
I am telling you this because I remember I had been participating in #MarketFriday when I was still in Saudi Arabia, I am just too lazy to scroll back to be able to find my blogs relating to this topic (by the way I had this in mind since I started with hive a little more than a week ago, I observed that the search engine is not that quick or effective especially when searching for members, not sure if anyone here also notice that.)
Location: Divine Mercy Shrine, El Salvador City, Philippines
Anyhow so here I am with my new entry, these photos were taken at the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City. The place is considered sacred but you can find shops inside. Yes I can say in between those beautiful flowers around, you can find shops or stores offering basic needs like water, food and also clothing.
And yes knowing that the ever supportive person who initiated or started #MarketFriday loves flower or has a strong inclinations to flowers (if I'm not mistaken) I will do a different kind of photo presentation in this blog so it will be a photo of a shop with a photo of a flower or plant at the side or below.
The photos below were taken while we were travelling going to El Salvador City. My son was taking photos while sitting at the back of the car.
Duration of Travel
The travel time from Cagayan de Oro City (the City where I live) to El Salvador City is about 1 hour so my son had the chance to take pictures on things or views he finds interesting.
The one taking pictures in the photo below is my son, he loves photography and I can see he has potentials, it's actually his birthday today, FRIDAY July 10,2020.
First Shop
So upon reaching the place, this is the first shop that we saw first, it is located at the entrance. As you can see since this is a sacred place for Catholics, this store sells religious items from Rosary, Crucifix, Novenas, Scapular, Bible and a lot more. They also sell t-shirts with religious prints or Bible quotes. If you also notice the store is not made of concrete materials, it's because their presence there is just temporary, after sometime they can be out or when the area will be utilized for other purpose.
Another store adjacent to the one I posted above is selling water and also empty bottles.
Why they are selling empty bottles?
Devotees believe that the water found in the area is a healing water, so most of the visitors especially those who are visiting the Shrine for the first time buy empty bottles and filled it with the healing water and bring it home.
I know not all people believe in this but for its a matter of strong faith to God, if you believe that you will be cured on any disease that you are suffering by just drinking the sacred water then you will be healed.
When we went home we dropped by the Bakeshop of my sister eat a little and then heed back to our journey back home. Travelling for about an hour or more again depending upon the traffic.
So that's all for today's #MarketFriday, It is still 11:06 pm FRIDAY July 10, 2020 Philippines time so I am not yet late for the #MarketFriday post 😎.
My big thanks to the admin of the #MarketFriday community for starting the #MarketFriday challenge, I can see you have a big and solid community now and growing, Congrats! I hope I could consistently contribute every Friday.
