Chandpur Sadar upazila of Chandpur district is a block with a village Golisa village of Gulisa under 9 Noabaliya Union. It is located at 14 km south of the upazila headquarters. Inside of Chandpur irrigation project. Prior to the start of NATP project there was no peasant organization in that area. Farmers produce different types of crops on their soil as their own wish. They do not even know what crops should be used according to their land and soil type. Prior to the start of NATP project, the cultivation of red meat, radish, detergent, sweet pumpkin, 5/6 ha in highland area was grown. The average vegetable germination yielded 30 m tons. They did not yield aspiration because they did not have any idea about improved quality seeds, modern technology usage, fertilizer use levels and pesticide application levels and application methods. After the NATP project began in 2008/09, the CIG was formed with 2 CIGs of rice farmers and a leafy vegetable cigarette with women. Vegetables CIG is formed in 20 rice paddy with 20 paddy in each rice cig and 1 in 20 women.
All types of crops are cultivated in paddy fields such as paddy, wheat, corn, kaun, jute etc. If regular seeds, fertilizers and other supplies are provided, the crop production will increase further
