A while back, the great Markymark set up an interesting website where, among other things, you could see exactly who had voted for or withdrawn their vote on a particular proposal. I found that very helpful at the time, but his frontend is no longer accessible, so a new solution was needed. I put off this project for a long time and actually wanted to develop something else (or have it developed by AI), but dear kept nagging me about it over and over again in recent weeks and really wanted to know exactly who was voting for and against
’s proposal—because the proposal keeps popping up in the funding section and then, out of nowhere, disappears again. Well... So I ran a few analyses and hafSQL queries to see how something like this might work. The result is a brand-new frontend that transparently displays exactly this information and, thanks to the aggregated data I retrieve via hafSQL and store in a separate database, can present even more information in a clear and organized way.
You can access and view the frontend at the following URL:
https://hive-proposals.vercel.app
Currently, the latest data is fetched from the blockchain and written to the database once a day—or whenever someone clicks the “Sync” button on the homepage. To avoid unnecessary fetches, these actions are limited to once every 15 minutes.
Activity
https://hive-proposals.vercel.app/activity
On the “Activity” page, you can get an overview of all active proposals to see who voted on them, when, and how.
User Profiles
Demo: https://hive-proposals.vercel.app/voters/peakd
Everyone who voted on a proposal gets their own subpage where they can view all historical data, such as when they voted on the proposals. Here is an example of ’s user profile and their historical governance decisions regarding the DHF proposals.
Proposal Details
For Example: https://hive-proposals.vercel.app/proposals/348
Here is an example of the proposal for your reference. In the top right corner, there is a button to view the proposal on PeakD. In this view, you can see whether the proposal is active or not, and whether it is above the “Return Proposal ID: 0” threshold and has been funded accordingly.
Below that are the details regarding the daily requested payout amount—the amount of Governance Stake currently voting—when the proposal started and when it ends—including the specific dates.
Below that is a helpful overview of how much Governance Stake is still needed to secure funding. For proposals that are already funded, the value is displayed as a positive number showing the amount exceeding the return proposal threshold.
Further down is a chart showing how governance stake decisions have evolved over time, as well as the current and historical positive and negative proposal votes from Hive blockchain users. (Each user is clickable.) There is also a filter to display only votes or unvotes.
Languages
The Website is available in English, French, German and Spanish - You can select your prefered language at the top right of the Website.
Feedback
The entire software was developed during a several-hour session with Claude Code—a number of improvements and iteration cycles were carried out until the current version was ready to be presented. Now it’s up to you—do you find information here that’s missing from other frontends? What do you think about the transparency of user governance decisions? Is there anything important missing? Is any data incorrect? Please feel free to leave your feedback in the comments.
Thank you very much and best regards,
