Greetings garden lovers,
It's just the first week of June, and it's raining, so it's a good sign that I decided to remove and clean the area where I planted my spinach to replace them with new ones.
I have benefited from this vegetable plant for more than two years, but now I think it needs to be replaced because the leaves now are not in very good shape and the branches are old already.
However, it still produces a good supply for needs but I know they should have been improved because as you can see they produce so many seeds which also indicates that my spinach is already aged.
A month ago I decided to clean the area where my spinach is. During my clear up I was a pity to disturb this tenant that occupies the place but I'm sorry I need to let him go and just evacuate to another place.
I started clearing the place but harvested the last batch of spinach I have and the next step is to collect good seeds that I have to save for the replacement soon. Then I begin pulling out their stems one by one and to be honest I was having a hard time because their roots made them hold strong to the ground but anyway I successfully made my task.
For the good ones, I wrapped them with banana leaves to extend their freshness and store it in the fridge for future use.

Now the most recent update on the area is that I replaced them with eggplants but some seeds that were left made out on their own so as of this moment I just let them be there and since it was raining for days this week I will just transfer them to another place when I can go home soon.
So that's all for me today guys. Hopefully, you find this interesting since I believe some of us have different varieties of spinach from what I've learned here in HIVE as well๐.
Take care and be safe all the time.
