Hello everyone,
This is my first steemit post and I am very excited to be here. Cryptocurrency is something I like to read and talk about a lot. Having found out about steemit it's safe to say I fell in love. Today, I would like to talk about what cryptocurrency brings us and why do the prices seem unfair in comparison to the technology.
Honestly I think it's just a matter of time when people stop riding the prices and start to look into the actual technology. Bitcoin may be the market holder, but is it really the best coin out there? We all know it's not. But a lot of people are invested in it and a lot of people will keep investing. Why? Because a lot of people think that cryptocurrency = Bitcoin. I'm not talking about us here at steemit, I'm talking about the average Joe. Every newspaper in every country is talking about Bitcoin and how if you invested X $ in year Y, in the current year you would have a shit ton of money. But what about altcoins?
The jumps in Litecoin,Ethereum, Monero, etc. show us that there are a more and more people willing to read and get knowledgable about cryptocurrencies. The point I am trying to make is this: The sonner people get accustomed to cryptocurrencies and blockchains, the sooner the focus will shift from the price of the particular cryptocurrency to the actual benefits we get from them.
The crypto market is growing everyday. Sooner or later the prices of all the useful cryptocurrencies we have today will be too much for the average person. Personally, I invest a little money every month into my top 3 altcoins and over the last year have accumulated a decent amount of coins and made a nice profit. It doesent matter if its a few dollars, remember, every cent can bring a huge profit in the crypto world.
