Reviewing my digital archive, I came across some photographs that brought back great memories of a walk I took some time ago. It was an afternoon at the Independence Stadium Park here in Puerto Cabello, near the Social Security building. Although these are not current images, looking at them again made me remember how special the atmosphere is in that area when the sun begins to set.
The light that afternoon had a unique intensity, transforming the landscape of the park into a scene full of orange and golden shadows. It is interesting to look back at these moments from a few months ago and realize how photography allows us to preserve the essence of a day that, at the time, seemed like just another one, but which today stands out for its visual beauty.
To end that day, I went down to the beach to capture one last image. I remember clearly the contrast between the warmth of the sand and the cool breeze while I posed for the camera with the horizon behind me. Revisando mi archivo digital, me topé con unas fotografías que me trajeron excelentes recuerdos de un paseo que realicé hace ya algún tiempo. Fue una tarde en el Parque del Estadio Independencia, aquí en Puerto Cabello, cerca del Seguro Social. Aunque no son imágenes de ahora mismo, volver a verlas me hizo recordar lo especial que es el ambiente en esa zona cuando el sol comienza a caer.
La luz de aquella tarde tenía una intensidad única, transformando el paisaje del parque en una escena llena de sombras naranjas y doradas. Es interesante mirar atrás, a estos momentos de hace unos meses, y darse cuenta de cómo la fotografía nos permite conservar la esencia de un día que, en su momento, parecía uno más, pero que hoy resalta por su belleza visual.
Para finalizar aquella jornada, bajé hasta la playa para capturar una última imagen. Recuerdo claramente el contraste entre el calor de la arena y la brisa fresca mientras posaba ante la cámara con el horizonte a mis espaldas. Compartir estos recuerdos con ustedes es una forma de revivir esos buenos ratos pasados en los rincones favoritos de mi ciudad.
