LIKE TOURISTS - my entry for the SEAPHOTOGRAPY CONTEST "Sea and Seascapes"

Sehen sie nicht aus, wie Touristen, die gerade ihr Kreuzfahrtschiff verlassen haben und bereit sind Neues zu entdecken? Zum Glück handelte es sich nicht um eine Menscheflut tausender konsumhungriger Riesenkreuzfahrtschiffgäste, die gerade Venedig, Barcelona oder eine kleine Karibikinsel fluten. Die kleine Gruppe vom Königspinguinen (Aptenodytes patagonicus) hat sich gerade schön zwischen meine Linse und das Expeditions-Kreuzfahrtschiff MS BREMEN, die gerade vor Volunteer Point (Malvinas) auf Reede liegt, formiert. Und die Pinguinpopulation der angetroffenen Kolonien war zahlenmässig der Gäste sowie Crew der MS Bremen weitaus überlegen. Das Bild habe ich währened eines Landganges in der Pause zwischen Frühstücks und Mittagsservice mit meiner Nikon D5000 aufgenommen.

Fortunately, it was not a flood of thousands of consumption-hungry cruise ship passengers flooding Venice, Barcelona or a small Caribbean island. The small group of king penguins (Aptenodytes patagonicus) has just formed nicely between my lens and the expedition cruise ship MS BREMEN, which is currently anchored off Volunteer Point (Malvinas). And the penguin population of the colonies encountered far outnumbered the guests and crew of the MS Bremen. I took the picture with my Nikon D5000 during a shore leave between breakfast and lunch service.

¿No parecen turistas que acaban de salir de su crucero y están dispuestos a descubrir algo nuevo? Afortunadamente, no se trata de una avalancha de miles de pasajeros de cruceros ávidos de consumo que inundan Venecia, Barcelona o una pequeña isla del Caribe. El pequeño grupo de pingüinos rey (Aptenodytes patagonicus) acaba de formarse muy bien entre mi objetivo y el crucero de expedición MS BREMEN, que actualmente está anclado frente a Punta Voluntaria (Malvinas). Y la población de pingüinos de las colonias encontradas superaba con creces a los huéspedes y la tripulación del MS Bremen.
