Good Morning to you and hope that your having a great day. It is me and I hope that you have had your meal. Today I am going to introduce to you two of Sarawak's own creations. These are soup noodles that are nutritious for the body. It is quite minimalistic. Both of the noodles here are made from rice flour instead of wheat flour.
MEE SUA in Chicken

Rice vermicelli in chicken soup. The taste of this bowl of noodle is dependant of the way to soup is made. If the soup is good, this bowl of noodles is going to taste good. It has that slight spiciness that is just enough to tingle the taste buds. It is also best to eat this dish when it is served hot as it comes out of the kitchen.
FEN GAN DAN

This bowl of noodles is called Feng Gan Dan. The noodles has the same texture as the udon of the Japanese ramen but thinner. There are also eggs that add on to the taste. A lot of egg. The red colour from these two bowl of noodles come from the red wine that is added. It adds an extra wine taste. In Sarawak, red wine is said to help in the blood circulation of our body. These wine are made differently as compared to the red wine that is made by the French.
My wife and baby Avery as they go to order the food.

This is the stall where a kind lady in her senior year makes them.
Ordered some coffee sugar and horlick

Horlick is malted drink that taste like milk. I ordered a hot cup of sugarless coffee.
Avery eating her cup of ice cream

While we ordered food and were waiting for our food, we got Avery a cup of chocolate ice cream.
Her lips covered by chocolate lipstick.

She had to sit there and wait. She ate some noodles in a smaller bowl.
Introducing Avery to the bowl of noodles.

She is just loving it. I hope that you enjoy this post of the Sarawakian local noodle dishes. Hope that your going to have a great day.
