The last time I visited Macau was close to twenty years ago. At that time, I was still a teenager.
That time, my dad was still a young man, but now he's already turning 70.
It brings back the good old memories.
We were on our way to Macau. It was going to be an hour before we arrived in Macau.

This is the Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal.

Walking into the Ferry on this floating platform that is securely placed next to the ferry.

I thought we had free seatings, but later found out that the seats had numbers. But it was alright. We could still walk around to look at the view of the sea as the boat drifts by.

The view inside the ferry. I still remember the time I sat in a Ferry close to twenty years ago and that time it was with my dad and sister.

Pop Mart is everywhere.

The ferry as it leaves the terminal.

After an hour, we were embarking on Macau. Excited.
My wife is anxiously waiting to go to Macau.

Everyone is leaving the ferry and heading to the immigration.

As I passed by the platform bridge, I took a picture of the other ferry that was parked there.

This is the way to the Macau terminal immigration check point.

One thing about Hong Kong is that there is a lot of walking. It took around twenty minutes of walking to reach this very long immigration checkpoint.

After an hour of arriving, we were out of the Taipa terminal. Now, I had to figure out the way to find out how to get to the city.

I did not do much research on Macau, so this time, I took the taxi instead. The first place that we were heading to was the main city area. The older part of Macau to look at Saint Paul Ruins.

These taxis have automatic sliding doors.

This looks like a scene from Japan. Macau and Hong Kong have been so clean. So far, impressive. While I was at the hotel, I checked the stats on the number of tourists visiting Hong Kong, and it is around 400 K, while Filipinos ( I saw a lot of Filipino tourists) number around 1.2 million a year.

A lot of Malaysians have a bad impression of Hong Kong when I was in Kuala Lumpur. But, so far for me, this is one of the best places I've visited in a while. I did my own research for Hong Kong. Just randomly went to places that are not tourist areas.
I even promoted Hong Kong to my fellow Malaysians as a great destination to visit. If there is a destination that I would visit every year, this would be one of those places. Hong Kong is chaotic but in a good way. There is this lingering feeling.

Thank you very much for reading this post.
Have a wonderful day ahead.
