Outside the city of Zagreb, as you drive towards Samobor, you can find many small towns and villages that are full of wonderful sights.
The sun started to descend so I decided to go up one of the hills for some nice landscape shots.
On the way up I first came upon this old hydrant. Who knows when it last saw a drop of water.
When you arrive at the top of the hill, you can see a beautiful house with a majestic view of the mountains. Would you live here? Imagine waking up and taking a fresh sip of coffee. Paradise!
Observe the wonderful hills as the clouds dim the sunset. You can even see individual houses and the smoke coming out of the chimneys.
As we drop our gaze towards the left, right under the hills we can finally see the mysterious village, and no, it's not the Smurfs 🤣 I love how it's isolated and nicely placed right beneath the hill slopes. Looks so quiet and peaceful.
I do see a road but have no idea where it comes from. Would definitely love to find out! Would you like me to maybe try and visit it some day? Let me know in the comments.
Soon after I took this shot the sun really started descending fast and night was here.
