I'm going to try and compost as many leaves as possible this year. We don't have much food compost because the chickens eat it all, so I'm looking into other options. The kids have fun gathering leaves, making it a Win ~ Win!

Okay, rant time...I bloody hate Hallowe'en. Actually I really am unimpressed with all holidays. They are such a sham! Buy this, Buy that. Don't forget a card for your Mother! Oooh look it's bloody time to have another shopping spree! If I didn't have kids I would cancel every holiday. I can't be a grinch though with these little guys, but we do keep things pretty minimal. Holidays are so stupid hahaha!! Basically society all goes along with it, and if you know me, you know how much I loathe following the crowd. Holidays are for no reason but to line the pockets of corporate CEO's even more. C'mon little sheep, jump through our hoop. I'm an awful person, I know. I digress...here's our corporate pumpkins...because society says we should do this.
