summer hike...
and enjoy some nature scenes!

welcome back to my nature
photography blog.
I have been pretty active outdoors thus far this summer, and I am trying to make the most of it. Recently, I took a small hike to get some exercise and fresh air. I have been trying hard to spend as much time outside as possible. The day of this hike was warm, sunny, and pleasant, which is always a bonus! I ventured up the hill with a few friends, and took my camera along with me to capture some new photos!
The view at the top of this hill is one of my favorites in the area.
Such a gorgeous place to spend a summer afternoon...
This is the view from the top:
You can see quite far from this spot,
if the weather isn't too hazy.
At the summit, there are wild Maine Blueberries that grow!
Unfortunately, they were not quite ready or ripe to sample yet.
They are still pretty to look at!
Perhaps I will have to come back when they are ready... and fill a box.

It was a great day spent outdoors with a few friends. We hung out at the top of the hill for a couple of hours, and then eventually climbed our way back down. I took a few videos that I will be putting together soon to share with you all on Dlive, so be watching for that!
