A new place helps you discover something new.

I guess that’s what Bali does to me these days where I keep seeing amazing views ranging from rainbows to sunset. If I keep my eyes shut from my surroundings, overall Bali is the island of gods and truly a paradise. Unfortunately, I am so sensitive to my surroundings that I keep noticing things that are either intriguing or strange. I generally don’t complain right away but everything is kept on the back of my head to be processed later. Then, the next time something happens to me I am not too shocked anymore.

The sunset is part of Balinese everyday life. It’s amazing and there are many viewing points around the island. What I see is that they come with their family or partners to watch the sunset after work or just because. I saw little kids playing happily and none of them were busy on the phone. With amazing views and plenty of things to do outdoors, the phone becomes unattractive. But among those, there are “influencers” running around the beach taking pictures to show you how amazing Bali life is. Well, unfortunately, these people tend to show you only the good side of it. It’s good for the business I guess but anyway, that’s also something you will see more around the island especially in famous places. But now, let’s just enjoy the sunset!
