Almost everybody knows that I just simply hated my old car. It was tiny, bright red box, on the four wheels, which moved around like the slowest snail. Well not in my hands, but still... :) Sometimes, I was a little embarrassed driving it, but it wasn't always so bad. It was completely mine, and it took me where I wanted.
I don't give much to the flashiness of a car, but there is a difference in driving in comfort and driving in a leaning, noisy, jittering box.
I was looking to buy a new car for a while, but nothing seemed like a good deal. I finally got fed up with it and took a coworker up on his offer and bought his old car from him, hurray :) He recently bought himself a more exotic car and was eager to sell his excellent Citroen.
I didn't mind much about this car at first, I had others on my shortlist, but once I drove it, it completely won me over. For its value for money, hardly anything beats it. The guy is also a complete car maniac so it's in absolute top shape.
It's a spaceship compared to my previous Hyundai, the power, all the equipment and screens and everything automatic (not the gearbox), and the best thing is it floats over bumps, not crash into them :) It's much more luxurious than I expected.
I know it doesn't come close to a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, which I would also prefer, hehe. But in the real world of traffic, traffic lights, potholes, speed limits, fuel mpg and money, I think it's pretty good. I'm very happy with it. Now I'll just have to take better care of it than of the Hyundai :)
Have a nice day.
