Hello great bloggers called steemians, it's another beautiful day that God has made, that we should rejoice and be glad in it.
In yesterday Sundays service, the man of God that spoke to us, shared the word of God with us, on the topic titled - NEW NAMES EMERGING AFTER THE YOKES OF OLD NAMES HAS BEEN BROKEN BY THE POWER OF THE ANOINTING.
It was such a promising moment before our maker, as i sat down gently and carefully to listen and receive those words of transformation.
The life of David was the case-study, and i will like to share little part of the word with you this minute!
When the yoke of old names was still operating in the life of David, so many things was still wrong about his life, and out of all his brethren and brothers, he was the only one known squarely as a shepherd boy, as one of his old names.
He was left alone in the bush and wilderness with their fathers flock of sheeps to look after them.
He was of no value to others, and he was left alone in the bush, to perhaps be killed by wild animals.
I want to believe that davids father didn't place much value on him, and that he loves the other ones more than David.
Because you will agree with me that, youngest of children enjoys the company of their fathers most!
But in the case of David, reverse is the case. "
In the book of 1samuel 16 vs 1-9.
He also had names like the errand boy and many more.
But it got to a time when God almighty decided to lift him as he remembered him, that God sends prophet Samuel to silently go into the house of Jesse David's father, to anoint one of is son that God SAID to samuel, I MYSELF WILL CHOOSE FOR YOU!
That's the kind of anointing we talked about here this minute, which is the anointing that breaks the yoke of old and bad names.
And immediately prophet Samuel poured the anointing of kingship on David in 1samuel 16 vs 13-15, that was just brought from the bush, all the yokes of old and destructive names he bears before that time broke into pieces, and all his compulsory new names begins to emerge.
Names like, The song writer
The Champion
The lion killer and bear killer
The giant killer
The king in the making.
Those are the new and pleasant ones David began to bear, after anointing brokes so many yokes of old names in his life's, everything began to work positively for David.
He later became the king over Judah, and over Isreal,and he began to flourish in all his endeavors after he has received the anointing that breaks all yoke.
I was anointed as well yesterday in my place of worship! And am hoping on God for an uncommon miracle before the end of seven days from now, amen.
