In India if you are a vegetarian then most of the time you are eating and served Paneer..... Paneer is nothing but cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is like potato, you can blend in anything almost anything... So today I ditched veggies and thought of taking some protein in a diet.
Lets start it of..
Ingredients
1 cup Paneer
2 tbsp Oil
1 Large Onion finely chopped
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 1/2 tsp Red Paprika
1 pint Tomato Puree
Salt for taste
Chopped Coriander leaves
Method
Heat up oil in the pan and add oil.
Add chopped onions in it and saute it till it gets light golden color
Add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder and red Paprika powder and give a mix. Allow it to cook it for 2 mins
Add tomato puree, sugar and salt in the mixture. Cook it for around 5 mins.
Add water and give it a good mix.
Finally add paneer, mix and cook it for 5 mins.
Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.
Paneer masala is all set to serve with roti or rice...
