The harp seal or saddleback seal is a species of earless seal native to the northernmost Atlantic Ocean and parts of the Arctic Ocean. It now belongs to the monotypic genus Pagophilus. Their amusing bodily appearance is itself so appealing. Their black head and a black horseshoe back make them hone for clicks. They appear best when they have full gown coats. These pale grey bodied creatures are something to observe. They dwell in the Arctic and in the north-west Atlantic Ocean, preferred locations for photography. When they flip their hind, it is one of the best moments that one can capture. They live in groups and hence make for amazing shots. Their fast swimming strokes are something to notice. Also, mention-worthy is their capability to rake at a high speed through ice.
