I was born and raised in Kazakhstan, the city of Taldy-Korgan, this is the southeastern part of Kazakhstan, where the nature is very beautiful. There is everything and endless steppes, which in spring turn red from the flowering of poppies and mountains with white caps of snow in 40 degrees heat. There are few trees, but if you go north, there are magnificent forests. Taldy-Kurgan is also jokingly called Taldy-Paris since it is located on the same latitude as Paris.
Now I live in Russia near Penza, my hometown is 3500 thousand kilometers from me. If you get by plane, then it takes 12 hours to get to Kazan by train, since the nearest convenient airport is there and from Kazan
by plane to Alma-Ata 3 hours of flight, then 350 km, to the hometown. It turns out 1.5 days of travel. If by train, then go 3 and a half days. That's how far I got from home. Although now I am no longer at home, when I left, my parents stayed there, but my dad died in 2014, then I was at home for the last time at the funeral. Then I took my mother to my place, many relatives remained, and perhaps I will still go home, because I miss. Of course, now it's not so much, because 20 years have passed since I left, but sometimes melancholy rolls over so much that I want to return. I have a dream to take my children to my homeland and show them where I lived, where my childhood and youth passed, where the grave of my dad and grandfather is. But so far these are only dreams.
