I want to show you some photos I kept from the day my sister and I went to meet our cousins at A&B Books and Coffee. The goal was to spend a wonderful time relaxing with them, especially with him, since he was visiting the country as he lives abroad. So we chose this place, which has become my all-time favorite because of its Harry Potter theme (a saga I'm completely in love with). There are little lights everywhere that create a magical and cozy atmosphere.
Quiero mostrarles algunas fotos que conservo del día que mi hermana y yo fuimos a reunirnos con nuestros primos en A&B Books and Coffee. El objetivo era pasar un rato maravilloso de esparcimiento junto a ellos y en especial junto a él porque estaba de visita en el país ya que vive en el extranjero. Entonces la elección fue este lugar que se ha convertido en mi favorito de toda la vida por su temática de Harry Potter (una saga de la que estoy completamente enamorada) Hay pequeñas luces por todos lados que crean un ambiente mágico y acogedor.
The place is located in the Concepto La Viña shopping center in the north of the city of Valencia in Venezuela, and the concept it uses is very interesting, I couldn't say for sure if it's a restaurant, a cafe, a bookstore or a library because it really has all of those things inside: you can enjoy something delicious while watching the Harry Potter movies that are playing all the time, you can buy a book if you wish or grab any you like from the shelf and read it while you have your snack, breakfast, lunch or dinner.
El lugar está ubicado en el centro comercial Concepto La Viña en el norte de la ciudad de Valencia en Venezuela, y el concepto que maneja es muy interesante, no podría precisar si es un restaurante, un café, una librería o una biblioteca porque realmente tiene todo eso allí adentro: puedes degustar algo delicioso mientras ves las películas de Harry Potter que las reproducen todo el tiempo, puedes comprar un libro si así lo deseas o agarrar cualquiera que te guste del estante y leerlo mientras tomas tu merienda, desayuno, almuerzo cena.
My cousins were absolutely fascinated by all the details they were finding; even the menu is very original because it not only has the characteristic typography of the Harry Potter saga, but it also includes drinks and food mentioned in the books, such as butterbeer, for example. However, there are also dishes inspired by other famous books such as Doña Barbara, by Rómulo Gallegos; it's extremely interesting.
Mis primos estaban absolutamente fascinados con todos los detalles que iban encontrando, incluso el menú es muy original porque no solo tiene la tipografía característica de la saga Harry Potter, sino que incluye bebidas y comida que se mencionan en los libros, como la cerveza de mantequilla, por ejemplo, sin embargo también hay platillos inspirados en otros libros célebres como Doña Barbara, de Rómulo gallegos, es sumamente interesante.
But I was craving something sweet that day, so I opted for a brownie with ice cream and paired it with a delicious café bom bom. A bit too sugary, perhaps, but it was absolutely delicious. The brownie had that characteristic slightly crispy outer layer, the chocolate had that perfect balance I love so much, and the ice cream added the perfect refreshing touch that contrasted beautifully with my coffee 😁. It was a sweet temptation that I thoroughly enjoyed, hehe.
Pero a mi se me antojaba algo dulce ese día, así que opté por un Brownie con helado y lo acompañé con un riquísimo café bom bom, demasiada azúcar, tal vez, pero estaba absolutamente delicioso. Al Brownie se le sentía esa característica capa medio crocante del exterior, el chocolate tenía ese equilibrio perfecto que tanto me gusta, y el helado le dio el toque perfecto y refrescante que hizo contraste con mi café 😁, pero era una dulce tentación que supe apreciar muy bien, jeje
The more you look around, the more interesting things you find all over the place, that's why I love this restaurant. Look, I even found the famous Hogwarts letter addressed to Harry Potter with the very specific address "Cupboard under the stairs" 😄
Mientras más agudizas la mirada más cositas interesantes te consigues por todo el lugar, por eso amo este restaurante, fíjense, incluso encontré la famosa carta de Hogwart dirigida a Harry Potter con la dirección tan específica "Alacena debajo de la escalera" 😄
And lastly, I wanted to show you that one of the best things about this restaurant is that if you come with small children, you can leave them in the designated children's area where they can eat peacefully, read, or play. There's a young woman who takes great care of them and even organizes guided readings. I find this detail really interesting because not all restaurants and cafes have a space like this where young children are so well looked after.
Y por último quería mostrarles que una de las mejores cosas que tiene este restaurante es que si vienes con niños pequeños los puedes dejar en el area destinado para ellos donde pueden comer tranquilamente, leer o jugar, cuenta con una chica que se encarga de cuidarlos muy bien e incluso organiza lecturas guiadas, me parece super interesante ese dato porque no todos los restaurantes y cafés cuentan con un espacio como este en el que los niños pequeños son muy bien atendidos.
