I am extremely excited because my sister 
Estoy supremamente emocionada porque finalmente mi hermana
My sister and I bought the tickets online, and at first we were a little nervous because it was our first time buying them that way. To make matters worse, the app debited the money but didn't give us the QR code we needed to get into the theater. Luckily, my sister is more resourceful than me (I panicked 😱), so she managed to get the QR code. The next day, we went straight to the theater. It was my first time at that particular theater, and I really loved the concept; it feels like you're inside a spaceship.
Mi hermana y yo compramos los boletos en linea y al inicio estábamos un poco nerviosas porque era la primera vez que comprábamos de esta manera, para colmo la aplicación debitó el dinero pero no nos ofreció el código QR que requeríamos para entrar al cine, pero afortunadamente mi hermana tiene más capacidad de razonamiento que yo (que entro en pánico 😱) así que logró obtener el código QR. Así que al día siguiente nos fuimos directas al cine. Era la primera vez que yo iba a ese cine específicamente, y la verdad es que me gustó muchísimo el concept que tiene porque te sientes como dentro de una nave espacial.
The entrances to the movie theaters are like literally stepping into a spaceship's cabin; there are space and planet decorations too. The concept is truly futuristic and fun; I felt like I was inside a Star Wars movie 😄. But my goal at that moment was clear, haha, to virtually meet the King of Pop, the one and only, the real one. So there I am next to the promotional poster that accurately portrays Jaafar Jackson as my beloved Michael Jackson.
Las puertas de acceso a las salas de cine son como si literalmente entrarás a un cubículo de una nave espacial, también hay decoraciones del espacio y de planetas, el concepto realmente es muy futurista y divertido, me sentí como dentro de una película del universo de Star Wars 😄. Pero mi objetivo en ese momento era claro, jaja encontrarme virtualmente con el rey del Pop, el único, el verdadero, así que allí estoy yo junto al poster promocional que muestra a Jaafar Jackson caracterizado acertadamente como mi amado Michael Jackson.
The excitement my sister and I felt was immense; we were ready to sing along to the songs, and that's exactly what we did. We both seemed like crazy, euphoric people, belting out Bab, Thriller, Billie Jean, and Beat It! Ahhhhhhhh! 😃 But the audience around us wasn't quite as enthusiastic, although at least they weren't looking at us like we were crazy, haha.
La emoción que mi hermana y yo teníamos era muy grande, estábamos dispuestas a corear las canciones y realmente así fue, las dos parecíamos locas eufóricas cantando a todo pulmón Bab, Thriller, Billie Jean y Beat it ¡Ahhhhhhhh! 😃 pero el publico a nuestro al rededor no era tan efusivo, aunque al menos no nos miraban como si estuviésemos locas, jaja.
We were both very pleased with Jaafar Jackson's exemplary performance as his uncle Michael, and with the story itself. Without giving away any spoilers, if you're interested in seeing the film, I highly recommend it, especially if you're a big Michael Jackson fan. It's free of the disgusting controversies that surrounded him in the 90s and focuses solely on his struggle for artistic and emotional independence, his creative processes, and the battles he had to fight from childhood, which explains his eccentricities. It also showcases his philanthropic side. But what I find most surprising is that when I saw the trailer, I didn't believe Jaafar would look so much like Michael until I saw the film. The makeup and camera angles, combined with his acting ability, certainly made him look like his uncle (the same silky voice, the same stage presence—wow! It's impressive).
Ambas estuvimos muy contentas con el trabajo ejemplar Jaafar Jackson interpretando a su tío Michael, también con la historia. Sin ánimos de hacer spoilers, en caso de que ustedes deseen ver la película, yo se las recomiendo en especial si son grandes fans de Michael Jackson, está libre de las asquerosas polémicas en las que fue envuelto en los años 90 y solo muestra su lucha por la independencia artística y emocional, sus procesos creativos y las batallas que tuvo que librar desde la niñez, lo cuál explica sus excentricidades, además también muestra su faceta de filántropo. Pero lo que me parece más sorprendente de todo es que cuando vi el trailer yo no creí que Jaafar se pareciera tanto Michael hasta que vi la película, ciertamente el maquillaje y los planos de cámara, aunado a su capacidad histriónica ciertamente lo convirtieron en su tío (el mismo tono de voz sedoso, los mismos movimientos en escena, ¡Wow! es impresionante)
The moral of all this is that we must take advantage of every second of our lives and not let others try to steal a single second from us, nor our peace of mind or emotions; we must believe in ourselves and fight for our autonomy 😉.
De todo esto me quedó como moraleja que debemos aprovechar cada segundo de nuestras vidas y no dejar que otros intenten robarnos un solo segundo y tampoco nuestra paz mental o emocional, debemos creer en nosotros mismos y luchar por nuestra autonomía 😉.
