Cities, not Countries or states, have captured the infrastructure, logistics, and markets of the world. They did this to connect to other Cities and their infrastructure, logistics, and markets. In doing this, they made Hardware Developers, including those in the Hackspaces of big Cities, key to re-industrializing the countries where the Hackspaces are located.
Hardware Developers ( including drone developers ) occupy a position of power in the Cities. They will colonize the Cities through Internet of Things – based logistics, something which City Councils around the world are quick to recognize.
Take a look at this :

Looks innocent enough doesn't it ?
Yet if you look carefully at the specs, you'll see that the drone is designed to flown around a City under the control of anything from Android tablets to command centers located at City Hall. Clearly Intel has bigger plans than just amateur drone operators in mind. Very smart ! The smart money is on Developers who create “ hardware apps “ that ride on top of infrastructure provided by Intel.
