A few days ago, a close friend had a birthday, and to celebrate, she organized something very special and beautiful: an afternoon of wine and painting with friends. I attended, and as the passionate photographer I am, I brought my camera with me to gift some photographs to my birthday friend.
The first photographs I took were obviously of the day's protagonist. I took photographs of her from various angles to look for the best shot:
Hace unos dias una amiga cercana estuvo de cumpleaños y para celebrarlo organizó algo muy especial y bonito, fue una tarde de vino y pintura con amigos, yo asistí y como buen fotografo apasionado que soy llevé mi camara conmigo para regalarle algunas fotografias a mi amiga la cumpleañera.
Las primeras fotos que tomé obviamente fueron de la protagonista del dia, le hize fotos desde varios ángulos para buscar la mejor toma:
And after that, I started to include more people in the photographs:

We all did a painting. Everyone was free to look for a reference on their phone and chose the one they liked the most. I did a landscape that I liked very much, the other two paintings in the photographs were done by my beloved girlfriend:
Todos hicimos una pintura, cada quien fue libre de buscar una referencia en su telefono y escogió la que mas le gustara, yo hice un paisaje que me gustó mucho, las otra dos pinturas en las fotos fueron hechas por mi amada novia:
After we finished painting, while we were drinking and talking, I saw how a ray of light passed through one of the glasses and created a beautiful effect on the table:
Ya luego de haber terminado de pintar, mientras tomabamos y hablabamos ví como un rayo de luz atravesaba una de las copas y creaba un bonito efecto en la mesa:
And at that moment, an incredible idea came to my mind: a friend painted a sunset, so I thought of placing that ray of light right on the sun, and the result was that the light gave life to my friend's painting:
Y en ese momento se me vino a la mente una idea que resultó increible, un amigo pintó un atardecer asi que pensé en poner ese rayo de luz justo en el sol y el resultado fue que la luz le dió vida a la pintura de mi amigo:
It was a very pleasant afternoon surrounded by people I value very much. I truly had a great time, and I hope you liked the photographs as much as I did!
