Befriend Loneliness! It can be a great Thing!
"All eternity is in the moment"- Mary Oliver
I dedicate this article and wonderful song "A Thousand Years" by STING to my dear, emotionally confused friend, hoping she will read it and let the sound soften her heart.
I am sure that a few of you will relate as well.
A thousand years, a thousand more,
A thousand times a million doors to eternity
I may have lived a thousand lives, a thousand times
An endless turning stairway climbs
To a tower of souls
If it takes another thousand years, a thousand wars,
The towers rise to numberless floors in space
I could shed another million tears, a million breaths,
A million names but only one truth to face - Lyrics by STING
"Energy is all there is" - Albert Einstein
We need to understand how energy works and how other people's energy can affect us, therfore we need to protect ourselves to increase healing, joy and maximum strength.
I am confronting "Loneliness" once again from a different angle today, than in a couple of my previous articles and from 2 years ago because it became a continues struggle and issue in my life, facing my own situation, trying to adjust to a completely new environment. I grew up in a European culture but after living in America and SE-Asia for so many years, I still feel like a stranger in my own country, as I mentioned many times in my blog posts.
Where is my pack?
We might be the Alpha-Wolf :)
All takes time to find your place in different circles of friends, building a new social network, just as we do here on .
We get to know each other but it might not happen right away.
By the way ........
Did you know that there is NO sexism in a wolf pack. Although, both genders fight their own gender over ranking positions, wolves see each other as equal individuals and work together as a team. Humanity however, still doesn’t understand equality rights and continue to judge someone on something they can’t change.
I am not done with this topic yet because I am deeply involved to witness a lot of pain, one of my friends suffers and I feel helpless to explain that the acceptance of being alone, approaches only slowly. Step by step! Nobody can help to overcome the experience and lesson you must learn, through rejection and loneliness. It's a very profound and important skill we have to master sooner or later, if you wish for complete happiness and peace in-within yourself ........before you leave this planet.
I see so many people who are afraid of being Alone. They rather compromise than change, twist the reality as they wish to see it, instead of reaching that train to eternity.
wrote this lovely poem I bookmarked a few days ago.
I get lost in the pages of today,
to find the meaning tomorrow,
to this despite that I carry in my chest,
for not having reached on time
the train that without stops
would take me to an eternal company.
The communication flow might be interrupted with our loved ones, partners as well as our kids or even with our society, communities we used to be close with. You realise that old friends and partners distance themselves for various reasons, we don't really understand why.
It's Ok!
People start feeling lonely because of a lack of connection, a somewhat anxious feeling of disconnection. There is patience needed within yourself first of all, to see clearly again, that it might be actually possible to embrace such intense emotion. We feel too weak, loose our self-confidence and forget that we are capable to set up the best possible "YOU", without needing anybody else.
Say Hello to Loneliness and find out who you are!
10 Comics Show A Positive Side Of Loneliness
I like this comic artist Reimena Ashel Yee who shows a positive side
Nobody likes to feel the rejection of being excluded
Researchers have investigated how the brain responds to social rejection. One study found that the dorsal anterior cingulate cortex is active when people are experiencing both physical pain and "social pain," in response to social rejection. - Source

So, How can you learn to manage Loneliness?
I don't really know where to get started how I do it and enjoy a different kind of freedom.
It's really interesting when you see some people craving to be on their own and prefer to start all over again......."alone" ........while the others suffer "to be alone".
It can be so frightening, when we confront moments of rejection or in doubt with low self-esteem, even though we used to go through life, like "lions and lionesses. We discovered our superpowers as parents and were valuable members in our world we created for ourselves and families and then puff......all is just GONE!
Rejection served a vital function in our evolutionary past. In our hunter/gatherer past, being ostracized from our tribes was akin to a death sentence, as we were unlikely to survive for long alone. Evolutionary psychologists assume the brain developed an early warning system to alert us when we were at risk for ostracism. Because it was so important to get our attention, those who experienced rejection as more painful (i.e., because rejection mimicked physical pain in their brain) gained an evolutionary advantage—they were more likely to correct their behavior and consequently, more likely to remain in the tribe. Rejection is the reason why some might hide, face depression, some might loose their mind, cry, scream, overeat, take drugs or maybe might find out, just like me that there is an important lesson, we must see clearly in the dark tunnel, you find yourself.
Get up! Go and find LOVE again or as I always say......Be LOVE and Let LOVE find you.
Then you have to remember that there are ONLY a thousand years to eternity!
"So! When is the divine order in place"?, was one of my questions in the following articles. They made me kind of laugh.
