Brazil commemorates Valentine's Day today, June 12th! A possible explanation is that tomorrow, June 13th, is Saint Anthony's Day and this Saint is related to matrimony, so in the middle of the XX century merchants institutionalized June 12th as a day to celebrate love with the fiancé(e)s, and since then the date became a lot popular in the country.
I stitched a bookmarker in the form of a heart in bargello stitching pattern using a special cloth. My beloved one is an avid reader! The present is simple, but it is handmade and full of good vibrations and sincere love!
