IN THE BLUES OF THE OCEAN

Hey everyone! Hive account@mannyz here. Let me say, I feel very delighted to participate today's 5minutes freewrite by Hive account@mariannewest. The prompt is 'blues', so enjoy the poem!!!

The sky was so blue
and the sea was so grey
the discord wouldn't be suprised
for they with words unread

what sickened his mind was the shrambles
of broken glasses the men at sea
may have dropped into the waters
on a drunken night without bliss

Or the mere view of a lady
with enlarged shadows
like a mighty sea horse
whose tail is trapped in the dust of the oceans
