The Story Of Red Ants
Last afternoon, Tuesday (26/9/2017) during a break after covering news photos , I saw a bunch of ants in the banyan tree at Sekber Journalist, STA Mahmudsyah street, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
Incidentally I carry Olympus TG-4 camera that I usually use to photographing macros underwater. I am curious to try this waterproof photo camera macro capability on the ground.
From a bunch of ants, there was a white thing that was being taken in turn by the group. I also immediately activate the macro photo mode to make sure what is being brought together by the ants.
It turned out to be a small snail house, because the size is still very small so the color is still white and soft shell preferred by ants.
But after about 20 minutes I noticed the togetherness of the red ant group. The lesson to be learned is that ants are looking for food that is usually larger than their own body size and make it to eat together. And during the trip ants always rebuke each other.
Although ants have small size, it is the togetherness that makes them strong and survive.
