Hello, Dear Hivers! | Hola, Queridos Hivers!
These last Saturdays have been so crazy! Haha.
A friend of mine gave my phone number to the woman in charge of the marketing at Rio supermarket since they were looking for a violinist. Some days later, they contacted me, and asked for a personal meeting to talk about what performing there meant.
After the meeting, the woman told us she would call me... And, as you can see, she did!!
I was so nervous!! I had never played at a place like this, and I had to be there for an hour!! My biggest concern was "what if I don't reach the hour?" I chose as many pieces as I could, and started to rehearse at the second I stepped on Cumaná... Oh, because she called me, and I was on my way to Margarita, lol.
Despite the nerves, I was really excited! But I doubt I was more excited than my mom haha. She had the idea of going shopping something for me to wear at the gig, she took me to the salon... It was a great morning. That helped me calm and distress a little. Isn't she the best mum?
The rest of my family was excited too! Some went there to see me. I'm so thankful for their support. 🥰
So, I got there, I tested sound, and the entertaining began.
For being a first time, it was very decent! People really liked my job. In fact, one of the entrepreneurs at the fair, gave me a little gift for my good job! 🥺
After the gig, we all went to my grandfather's house and shared the post-presentation euphoria. There we ate, we talked and had a good time as a family. 🥰
It was a great first experience for sure! ❤️✨
Thanks for stopping by!
Stay true to yourself always with a smile on your face
