Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started super early with the Detroit half marathon. Between the walk to the start line, the run itself and the walk back to my car (after getting lost a bit), I had over 26k steps before 9:30am! Not Actifit steps unfortunately, one of those days I wish I could sync my Samsung watch with Actifit... I'll try and post a detailed Exhaust report for the race.
After finally getting back home, I crashed on the couch in front of the tv for quite a few hours. I couldn't say if there was anything interesting playing, as I pretty much slept through the whole time...
But Kaia was getting impatient and in spite of all the soreness, it was time to go for a long walk with her. We started again in the neighborhood trying to find the remaining fall colors.
Then of course, the forest was next.
As often, Kaia went off-trail chasing deer or squirrels.
But again, she also had to pose for a few photos.
I went off-trail too for a bit, because I saw some more foliage colors.
And we walked back home before nightfall for once. Rest of the evening was quiet. Glad I was able to reach that step count without all the morning steps.
