The Praia Vermelha (Red Beach) is a small beach in Urca, RJ.
It's name is because the sand becomes reddish at sunsets due to the reflection of the sun's light on the red and pink crystals.
I took this picture while I was in an engagement barbecue boat trip (super good!). From my perspective, you can see the Sugarloaf Cable Car and on the back Christ the Redeemer, an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ.
