Meaning according to the Spanish dictionary. The word obedience involves more than you can imagine, we think that obedience is only in some aspects and not in others but obedience is total.
For believers to walk in the will of God is a continuous act of obedience to God. For the world, obedience is only limited to rules that we have to live and do, for the Christian is different, we are governed by the law we love and obey in its entirety, God does not want half obedience does not want you or me alone obey one part of the Bible and the other does not.
In the Bible many men who disobeyed God are mentioned and the consequences were tragic, some died and others did not enjoy the blessings offered by Him.
Obedience in these times has fallen a lot in the world, unfortunately our children are growing up in a technologically accelerated world that is creating in them a degree of self-sufficiency and that this leads to children not submit to their parents or obey them.

Said a Pastor who was asking God to speak to him, and spent many years in that, finally one night praying the pastor asking God to speak to him, God told him.
"How do you want me to speak to you if you have not obeyed what I sent you years ago" this story made me think a lot, how many times we say to God in prayer "speak to me" and never speak to us, it seems as if he were not there.

But analyzing I think he does not speak to us because we have not obeyed any mandate before. And I began to ask the Lord to reveal to me if he had ordered me to do something before I had not obeyed. This is the reason why silence.
Many Christians pray for wisdom to preach, but when they are commanded to preach a message in the Church they say "I am not ready" others pray for the fullness of the holy spirit but when they are told if they want to be a Sunday school teacher or teacher of children respond "I do not serve for that" so that we are asking if we are not going to use it.
