Greetings dear @GEMS community.
The pumalaca also known by the name of pomalaca and water apple is a rich fruit with a white, fluffy, juicy and fresh pulp on the palate. It has a slightly citric flavor on the shell and sweet inside, its exterior is shaped like a small Pear. It is also a rich source of vitamins A, B3 and C, minerals (calcium and iron) and beta-carotenes.
I am fortunate to have this bush planted in front of my house and at this time of year it is bearing fruit.
