News: December 2, 2022. Switzerland Considering Limiting the Usage of Electric Vehicles This Winter

Switzerland is considering limits in the usage of electric vehicles (EV) during this winter as part of a plan which has the goal of saving energy and avoiding the use of rolling blackouts.

Switzerland is a country that imports electricity, mainly from France and Germany. Those 2 countries have issues with the generation of electricity, derived from low nuclear power generation and decreased Russian natural gas imports, respectively.
