Cenando en Gendai | Auténtica Comida Japonesa 🍜🍣 [ESP-ENG]

Cuando se trata de comida y nuevas experiencias es algo a lo que no me puedo negar, por eso, siempre que tengo la oportunidad de probar algo nuevo o diferente simplemente no lo dudo.

When it comes to food and new experiences, it's something I can't say no to. That's why, whenever I have the chance to try something new or different, I simply don't hesitate.

Un día estando de paseo en un centro comercial decidimos de último momento cenar allí, lo que no sabíamos era que comer, pues, en la feria gastronómica había muchas opciones y fue difícil decidir, así que comenzamos a caminar pasando por cada uno de los locales viendo las opciones disponibles, los combos y platos del día para ver qué nos podía llamar la atención y cuando pasamos por Gendai y vimos el menú decidimos que era allí que queríamos comer.

One day, while strolling through a shopping mall, we decided at the last minute to have dinner there. We didn't know what to eat, as the food court had so many options that it was difficult to choose. So we started walking past each of the restaurants, looking at the available options, combos, and daily specials to see what might catch our eye. When we passed by Gendai and saw the menu, we decided that was where we wanted to eat.

Gendai es un restaurante de comida japonesa que ofrece diversas opciones típicas como ramen, poke, sushi, Yakisoba y más. De todas estas opciones solo ya habíamos comido sushi antes, así que vimos la oportunidad perfecta de probar algo nuevo y diferente.

Gendai is a Japanese restaurant that offers a variety of typical options such as ramen, poke, sushi, yakisoba, and more. Of all these options, we had only eaten sushi before, so we saw it as the perfect opportunity to try something new and different.

En el caso de Dani el pidió un poke de atun, el cual vino compuesto por un paté de atún con salsa Teriyaki, semillas de sésamo y cebollin, sus acompañamientos fueron sunomono, que es el pepino en rodajas finas con topping de semillas de sésamo, col rizada y arroz crujiente.

In Dani's case, he ordered a tuna poke bowl, which consisted of tuna pâté with teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds, and scallions. His side dishes were sunomono, which is thinly sliced cucumber topped with sesame seeds, kale, and crispy rice.

Ademas del poke la opción de Daniel incluía una ración de sushi de 6 rolls maki empanizados y fritos, con relleno de salmón y queso crema y topping de salsa tarê.

In addition to the poke bowl, Daniel's option included a serving of sushi: 6 breaded and fried maki rolls filled with salmon and cream cheese, topped with tarê sauce.

En cuanto a mi, yo pedí un Yakisoba de camarón con vegetales, el cual estuvo compuesto por fideos salteados, vegetales como zanahoria, repollo, brócoli y brotes de soja. La proteína por su puesto fueron camarones que si bien no eran de gran tamaño le daban un buen toque al plato y contrastaba perfecto entre los sabores.

As for me, I ordered shrimp yakisoba with vegetables, which consisted of stir-fried noodles, vegetables like carrots, cabbage, broccoli, and bean sprouts. The protein, of course, was shrimp, which, although not very large, added a nice touch to the dish and provided a perfect contrast between the flavors.

Daniel y yo compartimos para ambos poder probar las 3 opciones y debo decir que todas estaban muy deliciosas, no podría decidir cuál me gustó más porque todo me encantó. El Yakisoba para ser algo nuevo para mi me dejó más que encantada, no soy fan de las sopas pero desde esta experiencia me declaro amante del Yakisoba y ya quiero probar otras opciones con otros sabores .

Daniel and I shared so we could both try all three options, and I must say they were all delicious. I couldn't decide which one I liked best because I loved them all. The Yakisoba, being something new to me, left me more than delighted. I'm not a big fan of soups, but after this experience, I declare myself a Yakisoba lover and I already want to try other options with different flavors.

El poke tampoco lo había probado nunca antes y realmente me gustó mucho, la composición de ingredientes fue un verdadero festín de sabores que sin duda disfruté y amé.

I had never tried poke before either, and I really liked it a lot; the combination of ingredients was a true feast of flavors that I definitely enjoyed and loved.

Esta fue una nueva e increíble experiencia culinaria que me encantó, pues, eran 2 cosas que tenía mucho tiempo con ganas de probar y ahora que ya lo hice quedé más que encantada y espero poder repetir pronto.

This was a new and incredible culinary experience that I loved, as they were two things I had been wanting to try for a long time and now that I have, I am more than delighted and hope to repeat it soon.
