It is the 24th and one would think that the stores are crazy busy.
To my surprise, they weren’t. At least not as bad as I thought.
I got inspired by a recent post about Trader Joe’s to check out the Aldi that recently opened in San Diego. It was okay but not great. My son wanted a particular candy they didn’t have.
Later, I left my husband at BevMo and walked to a nearby mall to get a coffee but ended up going to the world market to look for that candy. No luck.
Back at home I started to get the garden ready for the rain that is supposed to come tonight. That involved a lot of digging 🤪👍
We get a lot of rain pooling on the driveway and front patio and the ditches help to divert that into the landscape.
While I was out there, I found a couple of ripe tomatoes which will go in a salad tomorrow.
