AKB is an architecture studio based in Toronto and founded by Robert Kastelic and Kelly Buffey.
For this project named "Alta Chalet" which is located not far from the ski slopes, the architects gave their personal interpretation of a mountain chalet. This contemporary vision preserves the dna of local constructions. Made for the holidays of a family of five, the place is warm and contains all modern comforts. The black of a part of the building contrasts with the snow while the white is made to remind the winter.
