Today I bring you a drawing full of color and too cute, I decided to do because I rarely do landscape type drawings, and also because I had a long time that I had not done a drawing so colorful, and as I had no idea what to draw, I decided to do this drawing, which by the way, I did it with a lot of love and care for you. It is a drawing of My Melody, a Sanrio's character. I hope you enjoy reading the step by step.
Hola a toda la comunidad de hive, espero que estén teniendo un maravilloso miércoles y que estén tomando agüita… Hoy les traigo un dibujo cargado de color y demasiaaado lindo, que decidí hacer debido a que muy pocas veces hago dibujos tipo paisaje, y también porque tenia un buen tiempo que no hacia un dibujo tan colorido, y como no tenia idea de que dibujar, decidí hacer este dibujo, que por cierto, lo hice con muchísimo amor y esmero para ustedes. Es un dibujo de My Melody, un personaje de Sanrio. Espero que disfruten leyendo el paso a paso.
Well, as an initial step I started making the sketch, for this one I just looked for the character to see how it was and so I could draw it, and the landscape I took it completely from my imagination, as you can see I made some strawberries with some plants and some butterflies, I also made some bees to give it a touch, honestly I was not very happy with this sketch, but I decided to continue drawing.
Bueno, como paso inicial comencé haciendo el boceto, para este nada mas busque al personaje para poder ver cómo era y así poder dibujarlo, y lo del paisaje lo saque totalmente de mi imaginación, como pueden ver hice unas fresitas con algunas plantas y unas maripositas, también hice unas abejitas para darle el toque, sinceramente no estaba muy conforme con este boceto, pero decidí seguir dibujando.
So after thinking about it for a while, I decided to do the lineart, because I didn't want to give up and because I wanted to bring you content today. I made a lineart not so thick this time as you can see, and not because I didn't want to, but because it was going to take a long time due to the amount of things that are in the drawing, but I did make 2 lines so that it wouldn't look bad, and it looked like this...
Así que después de pensarlo un rato, me decidí, y me puse a hacer el lineart, porque no quería rendirme y porque quería traerles contenido hoy. Hice un lineart no tan grueso esta vez como podrán notar, y no porque no quería, si no es que iba a tardar mucho rato debido a la cantidad de cosas que hay en el dibujo, igual si le pase 2 capaz de línea para que no quedara mal, y quedo así…
Then, the next thing I did, was to start coloring. For this step I started by coloring the strawberries, the plants and Melody, to color the doll, I wanted to do the coloring flat, but after you get used to coloring with shadow and texture, it becomes difficult to color flat, or at least in my case, for the strawberries, I used a carmine red which I feel is an extremely nice color, so I started coloring dark at the edges and colored a little lighter in the middle, and so I did with all of them, and for the seedlings I did the other way around, I colored lighter at the edges and darker in the middle, for the plants I used different colors for the shadow and the base color. Then I colored the flowers and hanging plants.
Luego, lo siguiente que hice, fue empezar el coloreado. Para este paso empecé coloreando a las fresas, las plantas y a Melody, para colorear a la muñeca, quería hacer el coloreado plano, pero luego de que te acostumbras a hacer el coloreado con sombra y textura, se te hace difícil colorear plano, o al menos en mi caso, para las fresas, use un rojo carmín que siento que es un color extremadamente lindo, así que empecé coloreando oscuro en los bordes y coloree un poco mas claro en el medio, y así hice con todas, y para las plantitas hice al revés, coloree más claro en los bordes y más oscuro en el centro, para las plantas use colores distintos para la sombra y el color base . Luego coloree las flores y las plantas que cuelgan.
Then, as almost the final step, I decided to color the butterflies and the little bees, for these I did color flat, or at least I tried. Some advice for when you want to make a simple shading in something small, like for example a butterfly, in the edge you go marking darker and as you go arriving to the center, you go releasing more the hand and tightening less the color, this advice I use it most of the times.
Luego, como casi paso final, decidí colorear a las mariposas y a las abejitas, para estas si coloree plano, o al menos lo intente. Algún consejo para cuando quieran realizar un sombreado sencillo en algo pequeño, como por ejemplo una mariposa, en el borde van marcando mas oscuro y mediante vas llegando al centro, vas soltando mas la mano y apretando menos el color, este consejo lo uso la mayoría de las veces.
As a final step, and the most difficult this time, I made the coloring of the sun and the sun sparkles, I wanted to do it flat, but I repeat, I am not good at coloring flat, so I decided to do it with shadows, for this step I used two different shades of yellow and orange. Now yes, to make this coloring, I started with the circle part, and for the part of the sparkles, I started coloring from the beginning of the sparkle, that is, from the finest to the thickest and then with the orange I made some shadows. I made some final details with paint and pencil.
Ya como paso final, y el más difícil en esta ocasión, realicé el coloreado de el sol y los destellos del sol, este quería realizarlo de manera plana, pero vuelvo y repito, no se me da colorear en plano, así que decidí hacerlo con sombras, para este paso use dos distintos tonos de amarillo y un naranja. Ahora sí, para realizar este coloreado, inicie por la parte del circulo, y para la parte de los destellos, empecé a colorear desde el inicio del destello, o sea, desde lo más finito a lo más grueso y luego con el naranja hice algunas sombras. Hice algunos detalles finales con pintura y lapicero.
