Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year, it is the eve of the event that seeks peace, family togetherness, gift giving and much more. The rulers of my city Barquisimeto in Venezuela, held an activity to turn on the Christmas lights in the Plaza La Justicia.
I told them that I found out about the event through social networks that it would take place on the first of October in the aforementioned square. So I told my husband to take the girls and enjoy the celebration.
We arrived at 6 p.m. in the historic centre, it was full of people, observing how beautiful everything was. We could see the parade of the municipal show band of the State, where their musicians played and the dancers danced to the beat of each song that has been a trend.
My daughters were thrilled to see the spectacle, there were entrepreneurs showing their products alluding to Christmas. The square was decorated with Christmas decorations such as the nativity scene, candles, Christmas tree, stars...
There was a horse-drawn cart on which my daughters rode; other children sat next to them. Musical groups were also present to entertain.
We were anxiously waiting for the lights to be switched on so that we could see the Christmas decorations that are best seen at night. Joy and smiles were present on my daughters' faces and that was the biggest gift I received on the night.
La navidad es la época más bonita del año, se está a la víspera del acontecimiento que busca la paz, unión familiar, entrega de regalos y mucho más. Los gobernantes de mi ciudad Barquisimeto en Venezuela, realizaron una actividad para encender las luces navideñas en la Plaza La Justicia.
Les cuento que me enteré del evento por las redes sociales que el primero de octubre se haría en la mencionada plaza. Así que le dije a mi esposo para que lleváramos a las niñas y disfrutaran de la celebración.
Llegamos a las 6 de la tarde al casco histórico, se encontraba lleno de gente, observando lo lindo que se encontraba todo. Se pudo ver el desfile de la banda show municipal del Estado, donde sus músicos tocaban y las bailarinas bailaban al compás de cada canción que ha sido tendencia.
Mis hijas emocionadas al ver el espectáculo, había emprendedores mostrando sus productos alusivos a la Navidad. La plaza estaba decorada con adornos navideños como el nacimiento, velas, árbol de navidad, estrellas...
Había una carreta con unos caballos en los que mis hijas se montaron; junto a ellas estaban otros niños. Se contó con la presencia de grupos musicales para amenizar.
Estábamos esperando ansiosos que las luces se encendieran para poder ver los adornos navideños que se ven mejor durante la noche. La alegría y las sonrisas estaban presentes en el rostro de mis hijas y ese fue el mayor regalo que recibí en la noche.
