Una de mis practicas clínicas fue visitar el servicio de ITS es decir, infecciones de transmisión sexual, el programa nacional ITS/SIDA se encarga de garantizar la atención integral del paciente con este tipo de patologías.
One of my clinical practices was to visit the STI service, that is, sexually transmitted infections, the national STI / AIDS program is in charge of guaranteeing the comprehensive care of the patient with this type of pathology.
Dentro del área se tratan distintas patologías por transmisión como lo son sexual; clamidea, gonorrea, sífilis, herpes, VPH, VHI/SIDA, hepatitis entre otras. Cabe destacar que al paciente con VIH el programa nacional garantiza su tratamiento.
Within the area, different transmission pathologies are treated, such as sexual; clamidea, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, HPV, VHI / AIDS, hepatitis among others. It should be noted that the national program guarantees treatment for patients with HIV.
En el servicio podemos encontrar distintas áreas, una de ellas es la consulta de embarazadas, adolescentes y niños, en esta tuve la oportunidad de circular el procedimiento de eliminación de verrugas en el VPH, otra de las áreas es la consulta de VIH/SIDA de caballeros allí se recibe al paciente se le debe preguntar los datos personales y si es primera vez que asiste o si es sucesivo, por ultimo tenemos el área de administración tratamiento allí también se realizan la extracción de muestras de sangre para serología a los pacientes que asisten a dichas consultas.
In the service we can find different areas, one of them is the consultation of pregnant women, adolescents and children, in this I had the opportunity to circulate the procedure of elimination of warts in HPV, another area is the consultation of HIV / AIDS of Gentlemen there, the patient is received, they must be asked their personal information and if it is the first time they attend or if it is successive, finally we have the treatment administration area there, the extraction of blood samples for serology is also carried out from the patients who attend to such inquiries.
Enfermería juega un papel importante, ya que debe de realizar la captación del usuario y hacer énfasis en el primer nivel de atención que es la promoción de la salud, debe educar, concientizar a la mujer, hombre, pareja, a como se puede evitar contraer este tipo de infecciones que pueden llegar a ocasionar hasta la muerta si no se toman medidas preventivas de forma temprana. El trabajo de la enfermera no solo será dentro de la institución, sino también en las comunidades llevándole a todos los usuarios la información necesaria y alternativas para evitar este tipo de contagios.
Nursing plays an important role, since it must capture the user and emphasize the first level of care, which is health promotion, it must educate, make women, men, couples aware of how to avoid contracting these types of infections that can lead to death if preventive measures are not taken early. The work of the nurse will not only be within the institution, but also in the communities, bringing the necessary information and alternatives to all users to avoid this type of contagion.
