Feliz noche a todos los lectores de Hive, hoy les quiero compartir mi experiencia en el área de maternidad, para mí ha sido una experiencia muy bonita, es uno de los servicios que más me ha gustado.
En el hospital central podemos encontrar las maternidades que allí se denominan Geo 1, 2, 3 y 4, una vez que la madre e hijo egresan de sala de parto, deben ingresar a una de estas maternidades, en este servicio se proporcionan tanto los cuidados en el puerperio, así como también el cuidado al recién nacido.
Cuando la puérpera ingresa al servicio debemos verificar su identidad, así mismo valorar su estado de conciencia a través de preguntas como por ejemplo; nombre de la madre, nombre del recién nacido, sexo y si el parto fue eutócico(vaginal) o distócico simple (cesárea), también debemos observar la historia del paciente y los datos del recién nacido, así mismo verificar la identidad del recién nacido en el brazalete y el sexo del mismo. Además debemos valorar los loquios (sangrado vaginal) en la puérpera.
Luego de verificar la historia y valorar a la puérpera y recién nacido, se ubica en la sala, y se dan las respectivas orientaciones, como por ejemplo; proporcionar la lactancia materna inmediatamente, como debe ser alimentación de la puérpera, enseñar a la madre sobre la importancia de la limpieza del cordón umbilical, esta es una de las actividades de enfermería a realizar.
Por otra parte se debe registrar en el libro de enfermería cada ingreso, con el nombre de la madre, numero de cama, tipo de parto y el sexo del recién nacido, además debemos revisar la historia clínica, en las indicaciones medicas registraremos en la ficha del paciente el tratamiento a cumplir, así mismo crear el plan de cuidados de enfermería tanto para la puérpera como recién nacido.
Es importante que el personal de enfermería realice el control de signos vitales en la puérpera, además de vigilar el tono uterino y loquios, así mismo de estar al pendiente de cualquier eventualidad que se presente.

On the other hand, each admission must be recorded in the nursing book, with the mother's name, bed number, type of delivery and the sex of the newborn, in addition we must review the clinical history, in the medical indications we will record in the file of the patient the treatment to be fulfilled, likewise create the nursing care plan for both the puerperal and the newborn.
It is important that the nursing staff carry out the control of vital signs in the puerperal woman, in addition to monitoring the uterine tone and lochia, as well as being aware of any eventuality that may arise.
