Mi niña bonita
El TBT de esta semana es de mi nieta adorada Amaya Victoria, mi primera un amor más relajado pero igual de intenso del que le tengo a mis hijos.
Ahí mi Amaya tenía casi meses de nacida, gordita, pequeña pasamos muchos sobresaltos con ella de recién nacida mucho llanto, muchos pediatras no sabíamos que le hacía mal hasta que la llevamos a un pediatra gastroenterologo, en exhaustiva revisión pudo dar con el motivo de tanto llanto, alérgica a la proteína de la leche de vaca, caseina, su alimentación era más que todo materna pero la mamá consumía algunos productos que contenían, se tomaron precauciones, dietas y el llanto mejoró pero la niña no aumentaba de peso y tamaño en cada consulta estaba en un perfil muy bajo.
La recomendación del pediatra era llevarla a un nefrologo pediatra, así se hizo después de tantos análisis y estudios resultó hipercalciuria es decir perdida de calcio por la orina, rápidamente se siguió el tratamiento, ahí vamos ya después de varios tratamientos y consultas Amaya ha mejorado muchísimo gracias a Dios.
Hoy ya 2 años y medio mi niña esta bien aún con tratamiento, es muy cariñosa, habla demás, es muy inteligente conoce y reconoce los números del 1 al 30, conoce los colores primarios, algunas letrras, canciones, baila, reconoce figuras geometrícas es una niña adorable, la amo demás pronto, muy pronto pasará a ser hermana mayor, ya el próximo mes Dios mediante nacerá otra hermosa princesa, otra nieta y otro amor para mi.

This week's Throwback Thursday is of my beloved granddaughter, Amaya Victoria, my firstborn. I have a more relaxed but equally intense love for her than I do for my children. There, Amaya was almost a month old, chubby and tiny. We went through many ups and downs with her as a newborn; she cried a lot. Many pediatricians couldn't figure out what was wrong with her until we took her to a pediatric gastroenterologist. After a thorough examination, he was able to find the cause of all the crying: an allergy to cow's milk protein, casein. Her diet was mostly breastfed, but her mother consumed some products containing it. Precautions were taken, diets were implemented, and the crying improved, but the baby wasn't gaining weight or size. At each appointment, she was listed as very underweight.
The pediatrician recommended taking her to a pediatric nephrologist, which we did. After many tests and studies, it turned out to be hypercalciuria, meaning calcium loss through urine. Treatment was started quickly, and now, after several treatments and appointments, Amaya has improved tremendously, thank God. Today, my little girl is two and a half years old and still doing well with treatment. She's very affectionate, talks a lot, and is very intelligent. She knows and recognizes the numbers from 1 to 30, the primary colors, some letters, and songs. She dances and recognizes geometric shapes. She's an adorable little girl, and I love her so much. Soon, very soon, she'll become a big sister. Next month, God willing, another beautiful princess, another granddaughter, and another love for me will be born.
