The angel Gabriel visits Maria
Maria was a young woman who lived in the city of NAZARET, in Galilee, and was a relative of Elisabaet. Maria was going to marry a carpenter named Jose. When Elisabeth was six months pregnant, the angel Gabriel appeared to Maria and said: You will be pregnant and you will have a child. You have to call him JESUS. He will be KING, and his KINGDOM will last forever.
Maria said: But I am a virgin. How am I going to have a baby? Gabriel replied: For JEHOVA nothing is impossible. The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and you will have a son.
Maria went to visit Elisabet in a city that was in the hills. When I arrived, I greeted her, and Elisabet felt her baby jump inside her belly. She was filled with HOLY SPIRIT and said: Mary, JEHOVAH has blessed you. It is an honor that you come to visit me at home the mother of my LORD. Maria answered: I praise the LORD with all my heart. Then he stayed three months with Elisabet and then returned home in Nazareth.
When Jose found out that Maria was pregnant, he did not want to marry her anymore. But an angel appeared to him in a dream and said: Do not be afraid to marry her. He has not done anything nalo. So Jose married Maria and took her home.
The angels announce the birth of JESUS
The governor of the Roman Empire, Caesar Augustus, ordered that all Jews go to their place of birth to register. So Jose and Maria traveled to Belen, because Jose's family was from there. it was almost time for Maria to have the baby.
When they arrived in Bethlehem, the only place they found to stay was a stable, and there JESUS was born the MESSIAH. Maria wrapped it with soft fabrics and I lay it very carefully in a manger.
Near Belen, some shepherds spent the night in the field taking care of their sheep. Suddenly, an angel appeared to them, and they saw the light of the glory of JEHOVAH around them. The shepherds were scared, but the angel told them: Do not be afraid, I bring wonderful news. The MESIASA was born today in Belen.
At that moment, many angels appeared in the sky that said: GLORY to GOD in heaven, and peace on earth. Then the angels disappeared.
What did the shepherds do?
The pastors said to each other: Let's go to Bethlehem right now. So they left immediately and found José and Maria in the barn with the newborn baby.
All those who heard what the angel had said to the shepherds were amazed. The shepherds returned to the field with their flocks, very grateful to the LORD for all that he had seen and heard.
