I heard this amazing insight during a seminar of Brian Tracy if I'm not mistaken. If you think about this for a while it can really help you to make certain changes in your life!

4 Things
There are only 4 things you can do to make a change. Sounds hard to believe right? Whenever someone makes a claim like this I immediately feel a certain need to prove them wrong. In this case though, I haven't been able to do so. I want to challenge you to prove this theory wrong, so here we go:
#1 Do Less Of Something
One way to change any type of behaviour or situation is if you start doing less of something. This could be anything. Complain less, eat less, spend less, rest less, stress less. It doesn't matter. Anything that you can do less will fall into this category.
#2 Do More Of Something
Another way to change any type of behaviour or situation is by starting do more of something. Again you can apply this to anything. Engage in more marketing activities, go to the gym more often, sleep more, love more, take care of yourself more, earn more, win more, train more. Anything that you can do more of will fall into this category.
#3 Stop Doing Something Altogether
The third way to change behaviour or any situation is to stop doing something altogether. You can stop smoking, stop whining, stop cheating, stop studying, stop working, stop taking vacations or stop eating at McDonalds. It doesn't matter what you pick here, if you stop doing something it will change your behaviour or situation.
#4 Start Doing Something Brand New
The final way to change your behaviour or your situation is by starting doing something new. You can start yoga, you can start eating healthy, you can start a relationship, you can start a job, start having a profit every month etc etc. If you start something new your behaviour or situation will change.

Conclusion
So what does this tell us? Well, if you're stuck and you want to make a change, I would suggest you take a look at whether you have to start doing something, stop doing something, do more or do less in order to achieve your goal. By realising that is has to be one of these 4 options, it will make it easier to work towards your goal :)
