The city of Lahti was founded only in 1906. This is why there are so few old buildings. This one was built in 1919 for the use of the leading regional newspaper.

Free parking for all shoppers. My car has a start-stop functionality put in place to lower the estimated fuel consumption. In reality, I often switch it off because starting and stopping the engine too often causes wear and tear on the starter. This time the light that indicates that the functionality has been switched off kept blinking. An hour in the warm underground garage caused that problem to go away. It probably had something to do with moisture and the great temperature variations in the recent days.
