#1 PICTURES
A huge part of getting clients is about trust. A great way to build trust from business owners is by adding pictures of yourself to your website and everywhere else. Don't hide behind your agency, put yourself out there and let business owners put a face to a name.
#2 CASE STUDIES
Those who have been following me for a while will know how much I preach case studies as it allows business owners to see your processes and visualise having you working on their project.
When putting together a case study, write about what the project was, the aim of the project, how you completed it, your processes, the results of the project and add lots of screenshots too.
#3 LINKEDIN
LinkedIn is my number 1 source of clients. It gives you the tools to position yourself in front of business owners from various different industries and even contact them directly. If that doesn't sound special to you then you're in the wrong business.
#4 AFFILIATES
Offer trusted affiliates (your local network) to bring you clients in return for 15% profits of the project they brought to you. Many people know business owners and not only does this give people an incentive to bring them to you, but it also doubles up as referrals to the business owners.
#5 TARGETING
Think about who you're actually targeting. Each sector is different. For example, local businesses are quite saturated with agencies because they are deemed easy targets. However VC-backed businesses are not so saturated. Be smart with your targeting.
